Our mission

Our Mission is to address the needs of Hispanic and other under-represented members of the community by offering access to social programs, medical care, housing, employment opportunities, legal and counseling services. We believe that providing these resources will elevate the whole community. By building these resources we hope to have a positive effect on those looking to come out of the shadows and into mainstream society.

Our vibe

At Nosotros, we create solutions. We dream it, and live it -together-every day reinventing and redefining what’s possible for the entire community!

Our promise

We desire to deliver low-cost or free alternatives to medical care, legal assistance, business consultation, daycare, ESL tutoring, housing, manpower and job opportunities.

Our vision

Our vision is a system of resources built to both empower people who want to become Americans with the tools they need to do so and to provide our community with a valuable resource for hiring and goods and services.

Nosotros Comunidad is about people!

Nosotros believes we are all God’s children and any families in poverty should not have to go hungry, that no one should have to be on the street when they are tired or sick or cold, that youth who have no home should not have to live in fear and danger.

Nosotros Somos is 501 (c) 3 community development organization committed to serving underserved and  undocumented people in Montgomery County, Alabama. We are driven to help those without a voice realize the benefits of living the American Dream through collaborative efforts to promote community and unity.

How Can Nosotros Help

While our main mission is to address the needs of Hispanic members of the community by developing access to social programs, medical care, housing, employment opportunities and legal and counseling services, we will gladly offer these same programs and services to anyone who is disadvantaged. Our vision is to empower and promote community building. We started by partnering with a medical clinic, housing, legal assistance, business assistance, social services and job placement.  Our relationships and partnerships throughout the community will allow us to have success along the way.  Please consider partnering with us as we help make Montgomery an example of how to rebuild and renew through focusing on people and serving those in need.

While we recognize the plight of the massive wave of undocumented people, we understand the need to renew and rebuild parts of Montgomery.  Through our own life experiences, we understand that sickness, plight and suffering does not discriminate, does not care whether you have money or status; affecting all of us at one time or another.  We are meant to give those who need it a second chance, in some cases a first chance, and a hand-up instead of just a hand-out for those among us who are down.

…In doing so, we hope to improve our communities, together… as Brothers and Sisters in Christ
